The valleys around Racines also offer many opportunities for cyclists and mountain bikers. From leisure to racing bikes, here all roads lead to happiness!

In South Tyrol, cycling holidaymakers can count on a well-developed network of cycling trails for all levels. Do you prefer a more leisurely ride to enjoy the mountain panorama? There are numerous routes through green meadows, past mountain streams and fragrant woods. For example, a relaxing tour is the one that runs alongside the Rio Ridanna to Vipiteno, which is also ideal for families. On the other hand, those who want to put themselves to the test will head into the mountains and perhaps climb up to the Passo Giovo pass, at 2,100 metres above sea level. A demanding tour, but with a view that repays all efforts.

Experience the nature of Val di Giovo up close, almost effortlessly, is possible by riding an e-mountain bike! On two wheels, you can explore the South Tyrolean mountain landscape around our Naturhotel Rainer in Racines in a totally relaxed way. In principle, all mountain bike routes are also suitable for e-bike tours, provided the technical and fitness requirements are met.

During testing, we covered 1,000 to 1,500 metres of difference in elevation with our e-bikes.

The decisive factors are:

The level of support, the level of fitness, weight, temperature and gradient. E-bikes can be recharged for the next leg during lunch.

Guided e-bike tours

You can request guided tours before your arrival or book them directly at the reception. Each tour costs € 30.

Val di Giovo, near Vipiteno, is located 1,150 metres above sea level, between Passo Giovo, Passo Pennes and Val Passiria. This makes our Naturhotel Rainer the ideal starting point for e-bike tours!

But that's not all: we provide you with e-mountain bikes, helmets, backpacks and a separate, enclosed bike depot with numerous sockets for recharging e-bikes. We also have a bike trailer for children that you can hire, for example, for a trip to Vipiteno.

We also provide an area for cleaning bicycles and a workshop in case there is something wrong with your bike.
